The Story

My name is Anuj Gupta or theanujshow, and my newest track “By Myself” is streaming now on all platforms.

This track uses references from Ohgeesy and Shoreline mafia, who have been highly influential in shaping the sound and overall vibe that i’m trying to go for.

My vision is to be the artist you can listen to in a car windows down with your mates and bop your head to it as you spin. In “By Myself” I talk about how I came up doing this all by myself with no one around to help me figure this out. I would watch youtube tutorials, shows about hip hop culture and iconic rappers, and just try to figure out my sound by experimenting with different instruments, different elements, and soundscapes.

I try to make the use of some pop culture, sports and other references so that people can resonate with my song, and it puts a smile on their face.

I hope to reach a wider audience soon, and I’m working hard to make that happen.
